Deleting your data

Email concierge@justsell.in from the address on your account, or call +91 80 4718 2200 (Mon–Sat, 9 am – 9 pm IST), with the subject Delete my account. If you signed in with a mobile number rather than an email, say so and we will verify you by a one-time code to that number before doing anything.

We will not act on a deletion request we cannot tie to the account holder. That is deliberate — a request we accepted from anyone would be a way to erase someone else’s trade-in history.

Everything that identifies you:

• Your account, and the phone number or email on it
• Every active session, immediately
• Collection addresses and contact numbers from your orders
• Your valuations, including the diagnostic readings stored against them
• Your repair booking history
• Your contact preferences and any marketing consent

Records of a completed transaction — that a device was bought, for how much, and when. Indian tax and accounting law requires us to hold those, and deleting them is not something we are permitted to do at request.

What we do instead is strip them of you: the record keeps the amount and the date, and stops carrying your name, number and address. If you have unspent vault credit, tell us how you would like it settled before we start — a deleted account cannot be paid out to afterwards.

We will confirm within 72 hours that we have your request and completed it within 30 days, which is what the DPDP Act allows. In practice it is usually the same week. You will get written confirmation when it is done.

You do not need to delete your account for that. Marketing is off unless you turned it on, and can be turned off again in Account → Preferences. Transactional messages — a sign-in code, a collection confirmation — stop when the account does. See the privacy policy for what each covers.
